Blowing
Incab Europe cables are rigid yet flexible enough to be installed into tubes and include many options for installation by blowing.
Ducting
Fibre optic cables include dielectric and metallic cables for ducts and utility tunnels.
Direct Buried
Fibre optic cables designed for high reliability in harsh environment.
Submarine
Robust designs applied in the sea between land-based stations to carry telecommunication signals.
Aerial
Aerial cables are designed for installation on distribution and transmission lines.
Indoor
Applied inside buildings (including vertical runs), in trays, channels, on outer sides of buildings, as well as in ducts, tubes and blocks. Suitable for blowing-in into protecting polyethylene tubes.
Drop
Designed for aerial installation on transmission towers, lamp posts, between buildings and structures.
OPGW/Ground Wire
Applied in the construction of fibre-optic link on overhead transmission lines of 35 kV and more.
Fire Rated
Used for stationary installation when the optical fibre needs extra protection from mechanical damages.
Blowing fibre optic cables ensure reliable underground communication networks. Building a cable duct system instead of aerial deployment allows to reduce plastics production due to a smaller diameter of blown cables and does its job in preventing visual pollution of urban landscapes caused by human-made structures.
The fibre optic cable blowing procedure generally includes 2 steps: – high density polyethylene (HDPE) duct pipe is buried in the ground; – the cable is jetted into the preinstalled duct with a pneumatic machine.
The pneumatic equipment provides a high speed of installation. A high-density polyethylene pipe protects the cable from ground movements, mechanical damage, rodent attacks and moisture. The tensile force during blowing is evenly distributed along the cable surface, that is why the designs don’t require high load resistance. Whatever your project needs are, Incab is sure to have a solution. We offer a wide range of optic fibre cables:
Blowing CT CFU – central tube (CT) design with a compact fibre unit (CFU)
Blowing CT – central tube (CT) design with PBT loose tube
Blowing MT 12 – multi-tube design with 12 fibres per tube
Blowing MT 24 – multi-tube (MT) with 24 fibres per tube
